Identifying Cue with Ivory Butt Cap

I need some help identifying this pool cue with an ivory butt cap.

Old cue thats been in my family for yesrs its lead cast weight in the butt ivory butt cap. I just cant find any makers marks on it anywhere. Any information is appreciated

    Taiwan import. Some sold under the name National, some sold under other names. That same one was available with points. Butt cap is ABS, not ivory.

    Yeah. I couldn't remember where I've seen a similar design and finally it hit me. It looks a bit like a poor attempt at replicating the butt sleeve of the Schmelke R4 cue from the early 1990s:

    Actually, there is a cuemaker that used these Schmelke cues as blanks. It is possible that this is one of them. I can't remember who, but I will certainly look for his name. That forearm is nice wood, so it is possible.
