Identify Mali Cue Year and Model

Identify Mali Cue Year and Model

Can you help ID this Mali cue year and model?

I am not sure what year it is but the odd thing about it is that it has a knot in the forearm.

I am not sure what you mean by a knot on the forearm. Can you show us a photo?

Based on the one photo you did post, it looks like you have a "Natural" colored Mali C2 cue from the Mali "Classic" series circa 1993. They were sold all throughout the 1990s and you could get em on sites like BilliardWarehouse between Dec 1998 and June 2002 for $175 retail.

They are a lower-end Mali cue. Not much value as a collectable cue. Now that you know what you have, you can monitor eBay and other sites to look at value. Also, when you are looking, don't confuse earlier models with the white/cream butt cap and gold Mali logo. Those are worth more.

The most recent completed sale for one of these was on eBay. It is the same cue (just in a different color), and it sold in Nov 2018 for $182.50.
