Identify Maker of this Older Cue

Need a bit of help identifying the maker of this older cue.

I got this from a pawn shop in Houston, TX in 1995.

The wrap was originally an off white/beige color.

The "marking" on the joint (shaft) appears to have been made with a ball point pen, not stamped or anything. Of course, I could be wrong.

    Looks like a Sol Rich, RICH Q Starfire Jet. Made in Valley Stream, Long Island, NY.
