Identify a 1960s Cue With No Markings At All

Identify a 1960s Cue With No Markings At All

My uncle gave me this pool cue. He said he bought it in the early 1960’s for $10.

It’s not in the best shape, but I cannot seem to figure out who makes it.

On the butt end I unscrewed the screw and the entire bottom of the cue from the ivory color down comes off and the screw just goes right into the wood end of the cue. It looks like there may have been a sticker at the butt end as well but that is long gone. I play pool quite a bit and would like to hopefully restore it someday.

It's hard to tell for sure, but it could be from Rich Cue Corp (Saul Rich, Abe Rich, and Isadore Rutzisky), or Florida Cue Co. (Abe Rich).

Here's a sample of cues from Rich Cue Corp's early catalog:

Oh yeah. It does look similar to the 2nd one in that picture.

That 2nd one (from the left) has points in the forearm, so it's not that model.

Wraps and stains can vary widely of course.
