Idenfity Orchid Pool Cue Model

Idenfity Orchid Pool Cue Model

I was trying to find out the value of this Orchid pool cue but I need to know the Orchid pool cue model number first. I don't know what the model is.

The wrap and wash is navy blue and not sure if the pattern is decal or inlay due to finish.

There is a chip in the butt end as shown in one of the photos.

Unfortunately I am not finding this one in the catalogs I have (from ~2006) but I am still trying to get a hold of some older Orchid Cue catalogs.

They were made overseas, but I am pretty sure they are real inlays.

I look at many pool cue catalogs and brochures each day, so I'll continue to watch for this one and will post if I find anything.

Would appreciate the same from your end if you figure it out first.

    Thank you.

I believe I have had this Orchid cue since the late 1990's, if that helps.

Do you remember where you bought it?

I didn't buy it, I won it in a tournament in Arlington, TX. The distributor that donated it was actually a Falcon distributor, so I am not sure why he donated an Orchid. I believe it was 1998, but not sure. Came in a soft case,a Can't tell you more than that.

I don't know if you identify other brands as well, but I have another stick that is a Cobra, washed red, no wrap and a Huebler, chocolate brown, no wrap that I bought from B&S Billiards in Haltom City, TX in 1996. I can submit photos if you might be able to help on that one as well.

The Orchid Cues brand is owned by Ernie Chen, who is also the owner of Falcon Cues. That would explain the connection to the Falcon distributor. As a last resort, you could always try to reach out to the folks at Falcon to see if they can pinpoint it.

Feel free to upload pics of the others, preferably each one separately... so I can split each one into separate topics, and I will do my best. e.g. reply once for the Cobra, and a second reply with the Hubler.

How much do you want for the Orchid pool cue? I pay cash or PayPal.

I don't have any idea of the value, so I don't know what to ask for it.

I do want to sell it, so if you want to make a reasonable offer, I would consider it.
