billiardsforum on 5/22/2019 4:20:12 AMThis is kind of like a Viking sneaky pete cue aka Viking hustler-style cue.
It came by default with the Viking "hustler-style soft hit" joint (no joint collar on the shaft).
This cue's design was in a couple of different Viking series:
- Viking VM-40 cue from the Viking Millennium series (VM Series) produced from summer 1999 to Summer 2004. Retail was just over $140, but could get it online from most of the big cue dealers for about $110.
- Viking F-99 cue from the Viking F-Series, produced from the Fall of 2004 to the Fall of 2007. Basically same cue as the VM-40. They just carried the model over to the next series. Retail price was around $150, but could be bought online at the big billiard retailer's sites for about $135.
There are plenty of them around in near-perfect condition. Value now would be about $100 give or take $20 or so depending on it's condition and who's looking at any given time.

My C200 was MSRP $200 for example.
VM-40? $140...not an accident.
