Was told this is a 1960's Brunswick, but no identifying label, thanks for any help

Is that a pattern or design on the bumper, or just scratches?

Is there anything under the bumper if you pull it out?

It looks to be scratches and aging. I have not tried to remove it, as it is part of the butt.

Here are a couple of close up photos also showing the veneer stripe better.

Unfortunately, nothing is coming to mind when looking at this cue.

I am very doubtful that it is a Brunswick cue (though I could be mistaken). I say this because it doesn't have any characteristics (at all) that resemble anything I've ever seen from Brunswick.

I'll keep my eyes peeled though, and will let you know here if I find anything. Hoping that you'll do the same.

I was told it was a Brunswick executive made in 1961, the shaft and joint are Brunswick or at least they fit Brunswick as I was able to check that with a friend who has a couple from that era
