AJAY Pool Cue Identification

AJAY Pool Cue Identification

My brother got this from a friend's father who passed away. My brother and I want to clean it up, maybe adjust the weight and put a new tip on. Want to make sure we are not going to ruin anything rare before however.

The inside of the butt says "JAPAN", the sticker has the brand name "AJAY" with a number "40682" and the decorative sticker is to faded to make out anything really.

Pretty sure its made of aluminum. Any idea what kind of cue I am working with?

AJAY Cues are nothing special or notable, so I would say you are good to proceed with your original plans of cleaning and weight modifications.

Even their Willie Mosconi "WM" cues go for under $100. I believe the value of yours would be under $50.

See this other post for more on the history of AJAY cues
