Pool Tournament Charts

Pool Tournament Charts

Does anyone know of a website that has an online tournament chart like the one here - petepaidar.tripod.com/pool_16.html - that is done?

I used this one at the local pool hall attached to their big screen with my laptop, and everyone loved it.

    Hi Wade,

Are you looking for printouts, or just some free advertising for your site? For what it's worth, that is pretty cool. I think there are quite a few commercially-available software packages for running pool halls, including tournament charting.

But - I BEG OF YOU - change the color, and make it more user friendly. Those colors are VERY hard on the eyes, and the monitor. I had to auto-adjust my monitor after viewing.

Also, if you are going to advertise your product here, we'll need you to advertise our site on that page somewhere. It's only fair.

I really do have a pool hall that wants me to run tournaments on the big screen again on a regular schedule. I've already spent way to much time just making this 1 chart and need to find another way to do this.

If I ever do get the charts done and have my very own website, ! definitely will advertise your website. For now, I'm using the owners web storage site at tripod.com as a way to have the tournament chart as a website and show up on my laptop.

Thanks for the heads up on the colors, as far as more user friendly, You are the first one to actually take a look at it, or are the first to give feedback!

Cool. I have an idea - would you like to host it here - on this site? If you can adjust the colors (to colors that I provide) I will gladly host a version of it here for you for free, and give you full attribution. I would also need to know a little more about how it really works...I tried clicking around on it, and couldn't really figure it out.

If we host it here, we'd have to ensure that it's as user-friendly as possible.

I really can't ask you to host just a sample of an idea I had, But maybe in the future after I make it more friendly we can talk about it. Let me know what I can do, to make you happy with what I got so far and let me know if you prefer me to contact you by private message, direct email, or fill your forum with our chat. I look forward to chatting further.

Wade: I have to agree with @billiardsforum. The colors have to go. They are very hard on the eyes. It is an interesting concept.

thanks for taking a look quickshot. I'm slowly but surely changing over from the bright programmer to a more pleasant one.

I will post an update when ready Wade
