Help Organizing a National Pool Team and Pool Tournament

My name is James and I live in Ghana (West Africa) and I love pool.

I am trying to start a pool tournament in my country and subsequently form a Ghana National Pool Team so that my country can also participate in international tournaments.

I am working on a business proposal to get sponsors for the tournament and would like any advice you have for getting a pool tournament off the ground and national pool team put together.
