    You don't provide much detail, but I will assume you mean:

    What is the penalty for playing the wrong ball?

    It is a foul if the shooting player doesn't contact the lowest numbered ball on the table first (or at all).

    The penalty is that the player's inning may be over. The incoming player may either:

    • (a) take the next shot or
    • (b) require the opponent to do so,

    All balls remain as they lie, in either case.
