1-15 8 Ball Rules for Sinking the 1 or 15 Ball in the Wrong Pocket on Break
We just began playing 1-15 8 ball.
One question I don't see answered is:
If the 1 ball goes in the wrong pocket on the break, the ball gets spotted, BUT does the breaker continue to shoot or does it pass to the opponent?
If yes, he/she would have low balls. The reverse would be true for the 15 ball.
Thanks.

If you pocket 1 or 15 ball in the wrong pocket on the break, play passes to the opponent.

Rack the 2 ball and 14 ball behind the 1 ball and the 15 ball.
If the 1 ball goes in on the break, the 2 ball becomes the "solids" object ball. Same with the 14 ball, if the 15 ball goes in on the break.
This is how I played in 1-15 pool tournaments in Seattle in the 1990s.
