    I just joined, it doesn't appear so.

    It looks like it was active from 2020 to 2023 then fell asleep. I don't know why.

    @SATXRON, welcome to the community!

    2020-2023 were indeed relatively active years here, but it has been a very rough 2025 thus far, for us.

    A majority of visitors to the Billiards Forum website come via Google search, but since Google's AI and Chat GPT are now answering so many search questions, there is FAR less traffic flowing to the actual content creators (such as sites like this one). I would say that it has cut our traffic in half since early 2024.

    That, coupled with the fact that a lot of folks go to Facebook groups to discuss/learn about pool cues, etc. rather than doing so on sites like this. The problem with that, though, is that everything people discuss and share in those groups isn't easily discoverable via web search, so it's kind of locked away, in a sense.

    I'm working through strategies to tackle the AI challenge mentioned above, but this site is just a side-hobby of mine so I only have so much time to dedicate to it.

    That said, we're also heading into the summer season where traffic usually drops 25% to 30% as compared to winter season. This site is the busiest from September through, say, March.

    Also, this site is more a "Q&A" site (and less-so a discussion board). What happens usually is folks come in looking for a pool cue or pool table identification and/or value, and when they get it, they're gone.

    I really appreciate the small number of regulars here with a ton of knowledge to share when it comes to pool cue collecting, etc., so big shout out to those folks—you know who you are!

    Anyway, thanks for listening to my rant! Haha.
