Hello and welcome to the forums. In North America, Russian Pyramid, or Russian Billiards is not an extremely popular game, but it is played. Do you know who organizes the World Russian Billiard Championships? I'd like to add that information to our Russian Billiards rules page.

Personally, I like it. It is a fun game, and provides a nice break from eight ball once in a while.

Hello @billiardsforum. I'm glad that Americans at least know about this game and even play.

Unfortunately I don't know about organization of championships but if I'll find something I let you know.

What size of Russian billiard table do you play on? In feet.

I don't remember exactly the size, but aren't they much bigger tables (snooker table size) with really small pockets?

You're right about snooker and Russian billiard tables being the same size; 6x12 feet.

On those tables, the pockets are the smallest among all kind of billiard tables. The corner pocket diameter is 2.9 inches and ball diameter is 2.68 inches.

As far as I know Pyramid World Championships are organized by International Committee of Pyramid (ICP), their head office is in Moscow.

Hello! I love Russian Billiards. A new place opened in Florida. Very, very nice. 12-foot Russian pool tables, big screen TVs, etc.

How small are the pockets on a Russian Billiards table?

How large are the over-sized balls used in Russian Billiards and where can they be purchased?

Why not just use snooker balls on a snooker table to play Russian Billiards?
