Should I Buy this Dufferin Pool Table?

Should I Buy this Dufferin Pool Table?

I'm looking for a used pool table and came across this Dufferin pool table.

At first glance it looks clean and has two-year-old cloth. It has a 3-piece, 3/4 inch slate.

However, from underneath it looks like the supports holding the pool table together are flimsy. The supports holding the slate in place are simply twp pieces of 3/4" plywood stapled to the frame and though there are bolts at each corner, they are attached to each end with wood glue.

I am looking for opinions from pool table owners in this community.

The Seller wants $800 CAD (~$600 USD) for it, including cues and balls.

    NO!

I just bought a Brunswick Gold Crown III pool table for $500. There's an older Diamond pool table for sale on Facebook in Florida and he's asking $800.

I would keep looking. Don't waste time on POS pool tables.

Agreed. The construction on these Dufferin pool tables is suspect, at best.

As @BallBuster alluded to, it's a buyer's market. Something will come along that's much better than this.
