Delta Billiards Manufacturing

We are adding a gameroom on to our house and I am buying my first pool table. I like playing pool, but hardly ever do. I have been looking at used pool tables for several months and I am finally going to purchase one.

The tag says "Custom Original by Delta Billiards Manufacturing Los Angeles".

I can not find any info on them, but I have heard they went out of business sometime in the 1970s.

I love the way the pool table looks and that is about the only thing I based my decision to buy it on. Has any body ever heard of them?

My family has had a Delta table since the 60's and it has been great for us. It has the large single piece of slate which is unusual today. Not sure about the value of such a table since I never looked to sell it. If you are a regular player or occasional player, you will like this table.

    Hope this helps!

We have a Delta Billiards pool table, full size, 1" one piece slate, bought in Seattle in 1971. The only plate on the table says: Delta Billiards, Los Angeles, Ca. A Vestor Co. I also would appreciate any information on these, as ours is still very much in service. Very solid table. It has been moved four times.

I think my table is a 72, it is marked underneath somewhere.. it is a three piece slate.

I also now have the family pool table from the 70's; it's a delta table, solid slate. We've been the only owners so it's in great condition. I'm now looking to sell but have no idea on what price to ask for. Any ideas?

Wow , that's a bad deal. Hopefully you can find a wood worker to replicate the piece.
