The Bob Meucci Customs BMC PRO Series pool cues were launched mid 2013. The first four cues in the series were released at the same time, and the latter two, the BMC Pro-5 and the BMC Pro-6 cues were released around a month later.
Though MSRP has remained steady since the series was launched, the minimum actual retail price was increased at the end of December 2016. (Initially, dealers could sell the cues as low as 20% off of the MSRP, but by January 1, 2017, this decreased to just 15% off MSRP).
Rumor has it that this series was initially intended to be a BMC Buddy Hall series (the product images appeared on meuccicues.com very early, and had filenames like buddy-hall-1.jpg, buddy-hall-2.jpg, etc.). Otherwise, no further branding with Buddy Hall's name has been seen. We received no comment from Meucci Cues on the subject.

The new BMC Pro Series cues bring together the feel and balance of the old with the lower deflection of the new.
Pro Series cues come standard with an extreme low deflection solid maple shaft, 1 Inch ferrule and a slightly different taper than the regular Meucci Black Dot or Red Dot.
Incorporating the lightweight aluminum or G10 10-Thread pin, reducing frontal weight, shifting the cue balance more towards the rear, similar to early Meucci cues. The Power Piston Butt further reduces deflection.
If you are not at least 6 on the A.P.A league tour or a five against The Ghost, this cue will be too much for you.
