We first came across the BMC version of the ANW-2 pool cue on May 27, 2022 when JS Cue Sales, a Meucci Dealer, posted that they were soon to arrive in his inventory.

Info on the BMC ANW-2b Smoke (Custom)
This cue is a custom one-off version of the standard-issue BMC ANW-2 pool cue, with a smoke-stained handle. This is one of two colorways produced as custom versions (the other being the one with an antique-stained handle).
We first came across this custom version of the BMC ANW-2 pool cue on May 27, 2022 when JS Cue Sales, a Meucci Dealer, posted that they were soon to arrive in his inventory. JS Cue Sales sold both of these custom versions in June/July 2022.
Here's the post from the dealer originally selling the custom ANW-2b Smoke cue:

10 new Meucci's [sic] on the way! Two of them are custom ANW-2 that are very very sharp.
This custom ANW-2 cue model differs from the standard ANW-2 cue model in the following ways. The custom version has:
- an all-black butt sleeve and butt cap (whereas the original has a white butt cap)
- no vertical gold-colored inlaid lines connecting the two gold-colored rings
- a smoke-stained curly tiger maple handle (whereas the original has a natural/un-stained birdseye maple handle)
- darker colored stained wood for the keyhole window
- white paua shell oval inlays instead of black
