Percy's Pool Hall Paragould - Pool Hall Info
A "true pool room" kind of place in Paragould Arkansas for pool players of all levels. Some of the pool tables here date back to the 1940s, such as 8-foot A.E. Schmidt & Co. pool tables. There is also a proper snooker table here as well, and a few bar boxes.
Percy's Pool Hall is the kind of place that draws the great, mostly unknown local hustlers and highly skilled billiard players e.g. Chris Busby. Chris is a local Arkansas pool player who plays at a very high level.
One thread online noted the following local pool players that called Percy's Pool Parlor their home, all with the crazy nicknames you'd expect in a place like this.
Robert Cooper is "Little Shug", his dad was "Sugarmill". His brother James Cooper is "Big Shug". Their grandpa was "Shug-Town Shorty". Little Shug was the best of all of them. I know I was backing him when he was 11 yr's old at what is now Percy's pool hall in Paragould.
Also, new in January 2016 is ladies night at Percy's Pool Hall.
Every Thursdy will now be Ladies Night at Percy's Pool Hall. Women will shoot free pool for the entire evening, men will be charged $2.00 per hour for a pool table. Our beer prices will be cut in half, at $1 per can.
Owner, "Tuffy" Rawls is the third generation of the Rawls family to run this pool hall.
