Jesse's Corner Pocket Billiards is located in beautiful downtown Brunswick on the 2nd floor of the former church building at the corner of Pleasant and Maine. For over 15 years, we've provided a clean & inviting place where pool players of all ages can relax and enjoy themselves. We offer food, games, TV and music too. Come visit us!

We welcome everyone! We've recently installed a new sound system, with speakers suspended from the middle of the ceiling to get great sound throughout the room. It works great with our internet-ready jukebox, which automatically updates with the latest hits and allows you to get almost any song online if we don't already have it. We have a new shipment of rails and we'll be working on improving the tables. The tables are 9 foot Gandys with fast Simonis cloth, and two 8 foot quarter tables are available.

APA League play continues every Monday night, ask about it at the front counter. League play is handicapped fairly so that players of all skill levels can compete, it's not just for pros and experienced players! If you've never been in a league, it's a great way to make friends & socialize while improving your pool game. We also hope to start up a Sunday night tournament soon. The format will be random seed and triple elimination, which gives everyone a chance to get their money's worth.

Jesse's Corner Pocket is on the upper floor of an old church at the corner of Pleasant and Maine Street. The beautiful 20 foot tall molded tin ceilings and huge windows give the place a bright and open feel that you can't find anywhere else. The original church had stood for over 150 years, and at this site about the history of Brunswick you can see the steeple on the 1877 map. Over the years, the lower floor has been occupied by restaurants, cafes, and a natural foods store. Currently it's the home of Charly's Smokin' Barbecue. At one time, customers would have food brought up from downstairs. Now Jesse's has food right on the premises, including excellent oven-baked pizza and calzones.

After managing it for years, Jesse bought the pool room (then called Corner Pocket Billiards) in 1999 from the original owner. Over the years he's made many renovations - from painting the ceiling over the upper lounge to remodeling the bar to bringing in a modern sound system and internet-ready jukebox.

Jesse is known for his dedication to providing a clean, family-oriented environment for his patrons. He was a senior chief in the navy for over 20 years. He has a degree in Childhood Development and works as a drug counselor. He also teaches developmentally disabled adults and is a devout mormon and an ordained minister. You'll often see him or his twin boys on any given night, you may also see his wife and two little girls.
