Definition of Undercutting

Undercutting is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.

Undercutting occurs when a billiard shot is executed with too small a cut angle, or too thin an angle. Undercutting is worse, generally, than overcutting.

She is undercutting that shot. He is hitting it with too thin an angle. No way that is going to go in.
