Definition of Rock
Rock is a billiards slang term that is a part of Billiard Accessory Terminology.
The rock is a slang name that refers to the cue ball, or white ball. The reference of the cue ball or white ball as the term rock has connotations to the illegal drug crack rock, which is also white in color. It is believed that some players refer to the cue ball as the rock because they can not stop scratching, which is a problem thought by many billiard players to be as severe as a crack rock problem.
