Definition of Lemon

Lemon is a billiards slang term that is a part of Gambling and Betting Terminology.

The term lemon refers to the act of stalling or the attempt by a billiard player to stall. A player who is on the lemon is intentionally playing below their top speed. Players who are on the lemon normally have some type of financial gain at stake, and must stall so as to fool others involved in the gambling situation.
