The phrase hill hill refers to a match up situation where both teams or both players are on the hill. This means that they both are only one point or one game away from victory, and based on that, the game could go either way.

The definition "hill-hill" is perfect so far as I can tell, but I have been trying for quite some time to find out how and/or when the term "hill-hill" or "double-hill" came to be. Do you know of any ideas or ways of finding out when and how it was started?
