Definition of Free Shot
Free Shot is a billiards term that is a part of Billiard Technique Terminology.
A free shot would be a shot that can be played as such that there is very little chance of your opponent having a return scoring chance; in other words a free shot is a very safe shot.
Free Shot - Usage
You've luckily got a free shot on the 4 ball there. I'd go for that just for security.
