Definition of Foot Rail

Foot Rail is a billiards term that is a part of Pool Table Terminology.

The end rail near where the balls are racked on a pool table. The foot rail is known as the short rail at the racking end of the pool table.

Foot Rail - Usage

You are racking the balls at the wrong end, you have to rack them at the foot rail.
