Definition of Counter Ball

Counter Ball is a billiards term that is a part of Game Rule Terminology.

In the game of ScratchBall billiards the counter balls are the 14 balls of the same color. Points are gained by sinking the counter balls. When using a standard set of billiard balls for playing ScratchBall, all balls, except the 8 ball and the cue ball, are counter balls.
