Pool Cue Accessories

Once you have purchased a brand new (or even a second hand) pool cue, you may wonder what else you can get to accessorize your new purchase.

The good news for you is that there are an array of pool cue accessories available to help you maintain and fine-tune your pool cue. In fact, it seems as though there is an endless supply of pool cue accessories available. Billiards Forum will outline a few of the most common pool cue accessories; the ones we feel every player should have.

  • pool cue joint protectors - Pool cue joint protectors serve to protect your pool cue during storage and transport. Check out the list on pool cue joint protector acessories for more information.
  • Pool Cue Tip Pik - A tip pik is a pool cue acessory used for giving the cue tip a rough surface, allowing it to hold more chalk.
  • pool cue tip pik - This pool cue acessory is used to give your pool cue tip its desired roundness and shape.
  • Microfiber Pool Cue Rag - These are non-abrasive, and are used to removed dirt and/or debris after play. They are a must-have pool cue accessory.
  • pool cue chalk - This pool cue accessory is optional of course. We recommend carrying your preferred brand of chalk around with you. Remember the last pool hall that didn't have any on hand? We thought you would.
  • Pool Cue Tip Tapper - This pool cue accessory is used to remove excess chalk from the cue tip, and to rough it up.

Other pool cue accessories include pool cue joint protectors, billiard cue chalkers and chalk holders, pool cue slickers, pool cue extensions, and cue shaft burnishers, among many, many, others. Only you can decide which are the most important ones to you!
