Victorian Bagatelle Table Bridge

Victorian Bagatelle Table Bridge

I have a Victorian folding bagatelle table which came with a bridge of eight arches.

Similar bridges I have seen have extended bays which i assume traps the balls.

Should the bagatelle bridge I have be a stand alone bridge or were there two different games played?
