Antique Pool Table Cotton Pocket Nets

Antique Pool Table Cotton Pocket Nets

Im looking to replace the pocket nets on a 1880s pool table with ones similar to the cotton style in the attached picture.

Any idea where I can buy them?

If you want the real deal - and are willing to pay for it ($200-$500 per set), you can get exactly what you have pictured above from one of two places (and both are highly recommended). We don't get anything from them, but if you do end up purchasing, tell em' we sent you!

    1. Antique Billiard Supply out of Rockford, IL.

Item #11-11 Hand-made pocket nets for use as replacements for missing or damaged original pockets. Includes hardwood insert at bottom of pocket for authentic "click" when a ball is pocketed. Supplied in off-white color as shown. 100 per cent cotton, can be used as-is or easily dyed to another color. $195 per set of six pockets.

    2. Classic Billiards in Fallston, MD, run by Ken Hash.

Original style black top pocket leathers with crochet woven nets with antique style thin burgundy and green fringe and red inside trim. Pockets are on antiqued brass finish number "3" iron. Price includes complete set of 6 pockets and irons.

I've also seen folks hire knitters to custom knit a set of pool table pocket nets using a high quality worsted yarn just like the old ones did.

Or, if you want something on the cheap:
