    The table remains open.

    The opponent now has the option of (a) re-racking and you taking the break-shot over, or (b) your inning ends and he takes the table as-is.

    From the WPA 8-Ball Rules:

    If the breaker fouls in any manner not listed above, the following player has the option of:

    1. Accepting the balls in position, or
    2. Taking cue ball in hand behind the head string.
