Sprained Thumb on Bridge Hand. is It Legal to Tape the Sprain and Play?

As the title suggests, I have a sprained thumb on my bridge hand. I play league and in tournaments under BCA rules.

Simply, am I able to apply tape to support the sprained thumb while I'm playing in league and in a tournament...??
