This is the 2nd generation of the BMC Black Crusher pool cue design. The design was updated sometime around the start of 2019 and is in production currently.
In this 2nd generation design, the silver-colored ring at the bottom of the butt sleeve sits above the BMC logo (whereas in the original BMC Black Crusher cue version version, the ring is below the BMC logo and closer to the rubber bumper). Also, the silver-colored ring at the top of the butt sleeve is further from the wrap and closer to the butt sleeve inlays in this 2nd generation version (whereas in the original version, this ring is closer to the wrap).
