    A snooker cue must be a minimum length of 3ft, (appx 90cm/36in) and there is no maximum length.

    I heard that the 3 foot minimum was introduced when a player once tried to use a snooker cue stick about the length of a pencil to play a shot from inside the pack of red balls.

    Not sure who this snooker player was.
