Weekly 9 Ball Tournament at Champions in Laurel, MD

Every Tuesday night in Laurel, MD at the old Champion's, there is a $25-entry-fee 9-ball tournament, double elimination. Danny Green was running it, last I heard, and the pool room adds $100 to the purse.

The competition is strong, though, and it's a comfortable place to shoot.

This pool room is more like a sports bar, with TVs placed throughout the joint. There is a jukebox which can get very loud during the evening hours. Alcohol, a full bar with beer and booze, good food, and no smoking allowed.
