New Table For a Novice Player

New Table For a Novice Player

Hello I am a Super Novice Player but would like to get a table for company and friends.

I was looking at the Minnesota Fats 8' Table MFT-800 ($1000.00) but ran across the spencer marston tables. ($1399+)

Now the spencer marston table is about 400 bucks more. Is it worth it ? or am I safe going the cheaper route.
