Is This a Good Deal on a Fischer Billiards Pool Table?

Is This a Good Deal on a Fischer Billiards Pool Table?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I am in the home stretch of finishing my basement, and have started looking at tables for my billiards room. Checking craigslist on a whim, I found the following:

Beautiful & Like Brand New! Vintage Look! Shiny Dark Wood! Heavy & ONE INCH Hard Slate! IT HAS A BALL RETURN!

Comes with 10 POOL STICKS, bridge, rack and BELGIAN pool balls!

Oversized 8-Foot Table (estimated 700lbs) 89 inch long playing surface 100 inch long table 57 inch wide table Fischer Billiards Fischer Mfg. Co. Inc. Tipton, MIssouri Serial No. 89713

MAKE ME AN OFFER! The pool table was appraised at $2,000 from a pool table moving company.

There are photos, but it just shows a "typical" older looking table in what appears to be good condition.

Any thoughts on a fair price to offer? They are asking $500, but if it was appraised at $2,000 why is the price so low? Is there something about these tables that make them expensive to move or recover (if needed)? I plan on inspecting the table first hand on Saturday, so any suggestions on what to look for or potential issues would be greatly appreciated!
