Brunswick Contender Series

Brunswick Contender Series

Hello All,

Looking for information on differences in construction of the Brunswick Contender Series versus their other lines. I am guessing veneers/laminates/fiberboard instead of hardwoods, but not sure about the slate etc. This will be for a new house for casual play, nothing too competitive. Specifically, I was intrigued by the style of the Spencer Marston Manhattan style table, but wanted something with a solid name backing and local dealership at a competetive price. I am most interested in the Bayfield model from Brunswick. As a casual player, will I notice the difference between this series and the other Brunswick lines? Will it provide a bit of eye candy to the game room or be more ho-hum/inexpensive looking?

Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Thank you much for your help.
