ASC Original Brazilian Slate on Brunswick Pool Table?

I'm looking at buying a used Brunswick Billiards "Artisan" model from 2001. The underside of the slate has a sticker that say "A.S.C. Original Brazilian Slate".

I thought that all Brunswick pool table slate had a sticker indicating it was "Certified Brunswick". Does this mean the slate on my pool table isn't the original slate? Has any heard of A.S.C. Original Brazilian Slate?

   It would be highly unusual for a table less than 5 decades old to have its slate(s) replaced.

   Brazillian slate is every bit as good as Italian slate (today, but I don't remember when it became as good as italian slate.)
