I have a Charles A. Porter, Renaissance La Paz pool table for sale in Houston, Texas.
It is around 25-30 years old and is in mint condition. It has been completely professionally restored by expert craftsmen using SOLID Honduras Mahogany. It is VERY heavy and is such a beautiful piece. It has mother-of-pearl inlays and the wine colored felt is professional grade. All rails have be refinished and have new rubber.
I found it at an estate sale. I knew what to look for because my father has the exact same pool table at his home. I have family member that deals with moving pool tables and my father owns a company called Craftsman Cabinets (who helped restore it). It was such a beautiful find.
I am selling it because I realize that I can have my father's table in the future. This table is such a quality piece, it stands the test of time. The original wood (Honduras Mahogany Dark) from 25-30 years ago is considered rare and exotic now! So hang on to it if you can.
The Billiard Factory and other industry professionals estimate it's value as being in the $8,000-10,000 range. I just haven't wanted to let go of it yet, until I can find someone who understands the value, and can appreciate this asset in their collection or home.
