Cushion Replacemnt for Dufferin Elite 8' Pool Table
I have an 8' Dufferin Elite pool table in desperate need of a cushion replacement on all rails. Can someone suggest a current market replacement for this model? There is little information available for Dufferin pool tables and I live in a mail order town.

Your best option is to contact a table mechanic. A good table mechanic will be able to quickly diagnose which kind of rubber replacement and rail maintance your table needs, and put your table back into tip top shape.

Unfortunately, I live in a small area of Eastern Canada. There are no professional table mechanics in my area, only hobbyist that know how to re-felt a table. Hence my request for information in the forum. Dufferin was a Canadian manufacturer of tables and games room accessories that went out of business in 2004. Hopefully, I will find someone on this forum that is experienced in replacing the cushions on these tables and can make a suggestion as to which one I can buy.

I used to help my buddy who was a mechanic. I don't believe that the make of your table makes any difference when it comes to replacing the rubber on your rails.
Pooltable911 on 3/28/2010 9:13:51 AMThe profile of the cushion can be different from table mfg to mfg. The most common profile is k-66. Your best bet is to remove the cushion from the rail and measure the top & back. This link will show you the sizes of different profiles.
