I am wondering if anybody knows if it is at all possible to convert a wood pool table into slate pool table.

Does anyone know how to go about converting a non-slate pool table to a slate pool table?

   Are you saying that you do not have slate base? Converting from a composite base to a slate base should be possible. At least I think so. I think you should have it done by a professional if you do it. I'm sure you will get some good feedback on the subject.
