Enough Light Without an Overhead Pool Table Light?

I'm setting up a new pool table and am wondering about lighting requirements. I have a low voltage "track" light about five feet to the side of where the table will be and can point a few 50watt halogen spots on the table. Is this going to be adequate, or do I really need to consider an overhead table light?

   . Last week I scored a 3 light pool table for $20. I'm going to take the Dolphins stickers and put Vandy and Titans stickers. Let me know what you find out on distance. above the table.
