Willie Hoppe Cushions Victor table
I have this old victor table that I picked up years ago (18 ) when moving. I partially restored it back then and am now looking at either finishing or selling it (base is together in dry basement). Table is and art deco style, the plate on the rail is labeled "Willie Hoppe cushions Victor billiard Co. Phila PA Everything for billiard rooms" .Slate (3 pieces) is 1 1/2 inch thick and 5 foot wide totaling 9 1/2 foot long. Table parts stamped with # 1300 and hand numbered 38092. Does anyone out there have any information on this and /or know what model it is.

Surely there must be somebody out there who knows something about victor billiards? (I have sent email Lanza Co. since it appears they were associated with this company...waiting for reply). This table was originally painted a creme or beige with little specks of darker color.

Talked to Ed Lanza at lanza billiards and sent him some photos ....waiting for reply from him,.. also found out this is an old tournament 10 ft table ( 14 inches between the rail sights).

I heard back from Ed Lanza at Lanza Billiards and he said:
...still don't have a year that table was made.
It looks like you have something unique. The style and construction is the Palmer except the fluted design on the corners of the legs. I have never seen that, but the rest is a Palmer,
Ed

Well, it could be due to the fact it is as said a one of a kind tournament 10 ft table! If Glen AKA realkingcobra can't help you no one can. He's the Leonardo Da Vinci of table mechanics. Jay Helfert is a pool / billiards historian. He's even written several books.
