Pool Table Identity

Pool Table Identity

Mother in law is giving me a pool table. They said its from the 1960s or 1970s. They are not the original owners and there are 0 markings on the table. It really needs to be refinished.

It's a 1 piece slate pool table with a auto ball return. I looked under the table and didn't see any markings also. Any other places i should look? I'm just debating if its worth sinking the money into refinishing it or buying a new table.

Thanks for the information. The site is awesome!

    The price is awesome. Free!

I urge you to put a few bucks into it to make it playable and start shooting pool on it before deciding to keep it, trade it or replace it with a new one.

The basics look decent from the limited photo info I can glean.

No, it doesn't look like a $10,000 Gold Crown but if a decent tech does the setup, he can make even a marginal table sing and dance.
