9’ and Solid. but Made by Whom?

9’ and Solid. but Made by Whom?

I recently got this table for the family.

It’s 9’, I disassembled and transported last weekend. Couldn’t find a single maker mark on it anywhere. Word has it - it came from a VFW or Pool Hall in 60s.

Very stout build and it looks to have been recovered dozens of times by the staple holes. The pocket irons look to have been changed at some point, at least the rail cutouts are gappy enough to make me think that.

The slate wood backer support structure is interesting, as is the rail inserts into the 1” slate.

Any thoughts? We are in northeast Ohio, and thought maybe it was a local regional builder like Schmidt or Fischer?
