    Yes! In fact he is, and he can also be considered the number 1 pool player that ever lived.

    But, there is one guy that also beat Minnesota Fats and his name is Puckette. I've played Puckette and he is too damn good. He too is a brilliant trick shot artist. We played "best of ten games" and I beat him in 4. This was in Arlington, Texas back in the 1980's at a pool hall called "Fast Freddies'' which Puckette owned and operated at the time! He retired from pro pool and still goes there all the time on his own accord to teach young people how to play pool. The man was one hell of a nice guy. He was never in a hurry and was happy to spend time showing you anything you might want to know at the pool table. He was a very patient guy for sure.
