VNEA Rules and Captains Changing Rules

VNEA Rules and Captains Changing Rules

Was informed that the 2 team captains of a league can change the rules of play if both agree to them.

I say they can not according to the rule book that I have 29th Annual League Season VNEA Rules Book.

It says if you want to change a rule, you must submit a written letter to the committee and they in turn will take it into consideration and take action thereafter.

Is it in any rule book that you cannot request a "make-up" due to players not showing up when you have only 2 games left in a season?

Sounds to me like you need a new team / league, never heard of such a thing. Forfeits occur when the team is full of slackers. Suspensions, terminations and other penalties are usually incurred. You should speak with your team captain, as a wise man named "quikshot" once told me in so many words, you need to be better involved and informed with your team. Lucky for me my team cap is also disrict rep. Just being on his team has made me well known and respected. If you play BCA you should be able to find rulings in this on the Billiards Congress of America website at bca-pool.com. Good luck n stuff
