I always hear @A-Train talking about how he loves the Predator Z shafts.

I am wondering what is the difference between a Predator Z shaft and a Predator 314 pool cue shaft?

   The Predator Z shaft is much thinner than the Predator 314 shaft, and the Predator Z shaft is supposed to "reduce deflection 16% more then the Predator 314 shaft", at least by their tests.

   The Predator Z is also supposed to increase spin, blah blah blah.

   Basically the Predator Z shaft is the the "new and improved" version of the Predator 315 shaft.

   But it is hard to tell hype, from fact, from fiction.
