Yes you can but the thing is do you want to spend the money on an after market shaft . Most after-market pool cue shafts run around $200 for what is essentially an in expensive cue that is marketed for beginning players. I think you would be better suited in buying a new cue. Just make sure you try it first never buy a cue that you cant try out first.

I think the pin is a 5/16x18. You can get a shaft on e-bay to fit it new for around 25.00. Not a great quality shaft but If your a beginner it will do just fine.If you want to spend the money you can buy a meucci shaft since they will fit also unless you have a different type of connection for the shaft to the butt, but i think the standard is a 5/16x18 pin.

When you do get a new shaft or whole cue, this time you will have the knowledge and foresight to avoid nicking the heck out of the shaft. There are various devices to carry in your cue case that sit on table (edges) and preent the knicks we all so hate.

Why waste you money. For the price of a new shaft you can get a new complete cuestick. I think you would be throwing good money after bad. Personally , I do not know why you wasted any money on a graphite cue stick. Take your money and buy yourself a new stick (wood) and if you do not know how to take care of it come back to this forum and we will tell you. I do hope you have a case for the stick. If not, if you spent over $100 most stick dealers on the internet will throw in a free case. And also free shipping.
